Why Is My Gravy Too Thick Or Too Thin?

Don’t worry, we’ve all been there. The consistency of gravy depends on the amount of liquid and flour used in the recipe. If your gravy turns out too thick, simply add a little more broth or water to thin it out. On the other hand, if it’s too thin, you can mix a small amount of flour with water and gradually stir it into the gravy until it reaches your desired thickness.

Practice makes perfect, so don’t be discouraged if your first attempt isn’t quite right! With a little bit of patience and experimentation, you’ll soon become a homemade gravy pro.
