Why Is My Rump Roast Always Tough

If you’ve had trouble achieving a tender and juicy rump roast in the past, don’t worry – you’re not alone. Choosing the right cut and cooking method is the key to avoiding tough meat.

Rump roast comes from the hindquarters of the cow, which is naturally tougher due to its constant use for movement. This means that it requires slow cooking at a low temperature and liquid to break down the tough fibers and create a moist and tender result.

So don’t feel discouraged if you’ve had less-than-ideal results in the past – with this recipe, you’ll learn how to transform even the toughest cut of meat into a succulent feast that will have everyone raving.
