  • 2 lbs Asparagus
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • Salt and pepper for taste
  • Squeeze of lemon juice

How to Make Perfectly Cooked Garlic Asparagus

  • Wash asparagus.
  • Cut the bottom hard ends of the asparagus (about ⅓ of the bottom end).
  • Add to boiling water and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Drain water.
  • In a frying pan, heat olive oil with garlic.
  • As the garlic begins to change color, add the asparagus. 
  • Fry on medium heat for 4 minutes. 
  • Stirring together with a dash of salt and pepper.
  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice.
  • Serve alone or with sour cream.
