We’re keeping things super simple today with this fresh red cabbage coleslaw recipe requiring just 6-ingredients (that you most likely already have at home) to prepare.

Keeping it Simple with this Red Cabbage Coleslaw Recipe

More often than not, a salad with a simple oil and vinegar dressing compliments the main meal the best. Whether it’s fresh greens, cooked beans or cabbage, adding a classic homemade vingerette dressing is really all that’s needed. And in our house, cabbage is a main ingredient that is often used for soups, cabbage rolls, noodle dishes and of course, side salads.

And although we’ve used green onions in this batch of red cabbage coleslaw, we often also make the salad without when we don’t have it on hand. Additionally, if you only have a head of green cabbage, you can also follow this same recipe. Having versatile recipes is a must!
