  • 2 tbsp level yeast (quick rise)
  • ¼ cup warm for yeast + 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 3 cups all purpose flour + 2 tbsp 
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt

How To Make Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe (with a Stand Mixer)

  • Mix together yeast, ¼ cup warm water and 1 tsp sugar. Cover and put aside for 5 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together 3 cups of flour, vegetable oil and salt.
  • Using the dough hook, slowly add warm water to the flour mixture and combine.
  • Continue mixing for 7-10 minutes. 
  • When well blended, remove from the bowl.

  • Add another 2 tbsp flour and knead by hand to form a ball.

Place dough in a plastic bag and seal to save for later use. Or use immediately to prepare a delicious homemade pizza with your favorite toppings.

Options for Storing Dough

Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or put it in the freezer in an airtight container or bag for later use. When ready to use, remove from the freezer 2 hours before using.
