On the other hand, pork ribs refer to the bones that come from the ribcage of the pig. Pork shoulder ribs are cut from the front end of the baby backs near the shoulder.

How To Make Delicious Pork Shoulder Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3-4lb pork shoulder ribs – divided into 2
  • 2 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika flakes (or powder)
  • 2 med-sized baking onions, sliced into wedges

Directions for Marinating

Rub salt and pepper, and paprika all over the meat.

Make cuts into the meat and insert onion wedges into the slices.

Leave it to marinate for several hours, preferably overnight.

Directions for Cooking

Preheat oven 370F.

Place into a roasting pan. Add 1 cup of water.

Bake covered for 2 hours. Uncover for the last hour and add more water to the pan if needed.

If desired, add salted potato wedges (or sweet potatoes) in the pan circling the pork shoulder to cook fully with the meat.
