Homemade Bacon and Onion Pizza – No Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • Pizza dough
  • 1 red onion finely chopped
  • 1 regular medium sized onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 small zucchini chopped with skin on
  • 2 cups mozzarella
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 package bacon

Instructions
 

  • Cook package of bacon as instructed.
  • Let cool and break bacon into small pieces.
  • Roll out dough and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Brush dough 2-3 tbsp with vegetable oil.
  • Cut onions, finely chopped.
  • Add 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped.
  • Cut 1 red pepper, finely chopped.
  • Slice zucchinis with skin on.
  • Slice zucchinis and sprinkle with salt and put aside. If excess juices, squeeze the zucchini to reduce juices.
  • In the meantime, saute onion in a frying pan for 2 minutes to release the flavors. Add red pepper and continue to saute for 7 minutes.
  • Add zucchini to rolled out pizza dough.
  • Then add the sauteed vegetables.
  • Top with 2 cups mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese (¼ cup).
  • Add bacon pieces.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 370F.
