Ingredient

  • ½ cup flour
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 lbs of pre-cooked steak, cut into ½” thin pieces.
  • 5 cups tomato juice or 1 can tomato paste with 5 cups water

Instructions

  • Combine flour with minced garlic in a medium-sized bowl.
  • Add the cut pieces of steak and coat with flour/garlic mixture.
  • Transfer coated steak to a medium-sized cooking pot with preheated vegetable oil.
  • Saute meat for 7 minutes. 
  • Add the tomato juice to the pot and continue cooking for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • The tomato sauce will thicken. 
  • Remove from the stove and serve alongside cooked pasta or spaghetti.

Notes

If you use uncooked steak, follow the same process but cook for at least 1 hour stirring occasionally until meat is cooked through. If the sauce thickens too much, add more water or tomato juice.
