Enjoy this easy-to-make delicious and heart-healthy homemade hummus recipe with fresh garlic cloves.

Homemade hummus on a platter with fresh vegetables.

An Easy Hummus Recipe

Simply made from mashed chickpeas and blended with tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil and some seasoning, this creamy and smooth hummus is a delicious and savory dip. Making it from scratch (as with most things) tastes even better than the store bought options. Enjoy the dip with some fresh cut veggies or serve along side warm toasted naan. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Looking For More Healthy Snack Options?

In addition to this homemade hummus recipe, our other favorite healthy snack recipes for the whole family is our homemade salsa served with a plate of nacho chips as well as a small bowl full of roasted pumpkin seeds.
