- 1-15oz can chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- 1/4 cup tahini, to personal taste
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil, to personal taste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1-2 cloves garlic, to personal taste
How to Make Homemade Hummus:
Place all ingredients in a food processor and puree until smooth.
Taste and adjust based on personal preferences. And lastly, remove from food processor and place in a medium sized serving bowl along with fresh cut veggies such as peppers, peas, carrots and celery.
