Ingredients
  

  • Large can chickpeas 540ml
  • Medium sized onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • Salt dash

Instructions
 

  • Saute onions in a frying pan with oil. Sprinkle the chopped onions with a dash of salt and continue to saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Drain a portion of the chickpea liquid and then add the chickpeas to the frying pan.
  • Add 1 cup tomato sauce.
  • Add 1 tbsp brown sugar.
  • Mix all together and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and serve.
