How Do You Make Homemade Pop Tarts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place the thawed dough on a board sprinkled with flour. Roll out one layer width wise to 1/6-inch thickness. Form 4 hearts with a cookie cutter mold. With a small mold, make heart holes in 2 of the hearts. Glue small hearts with water. Form 2 layers in the same way. You will get 4 hearts with holes and 4 hearts without holes.

Line a baking tray with parchment. Arrange the hearts without holes. Spread the rose petal jam, leaving the edges empty.

Moisten the edges with water and cover the hearts with holes. Press the edges with your finger and then with a fork.
