Simple and Fresh Apple Celery Salad Recipe

What I appreciate most about this recipe is the use of celery sticks and apples, two staple ingredients that I have in the fridge most weeks. And aside from enjoying celery in a batch of chilli or simply cut fresh and dipped in ranch dressing, this is a nice option for using up celery sticks.

You can also add a handful of sliced green grapes into the mixture for added bit of sweetness and texture. This easy to make salad is a nice, light dish for lunch or a great side dish to most main meals, especially alongside a BBQ dinner.

Ingredients

2 sticks of celery
2 apples sour apples preferably
1 tbsp lemon juice
50 grams walnut chopped
4 tbsp sour cream
5 tbsp mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Shred apples and celery sticks.
Add lemon juice.
Add chopped walnuts.
In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise with sour cream and add a dash of salt and pepper.
Mix altogether and serve immediately.
