Baked Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup cream cheese room temperature
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 green jalapeno peppers medium to large size
- 12 slices thin slices of bacon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cut the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and using a spoon, remove and discard the seeds.
- Mix the cream cheese and cheddar cheese together with an electric mixer.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the jalapeno pepper half.
- Take a slice of bacon (uncooked) and wrap around the cheese filled pepper.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the jalapeno poppers on top in a single layer. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and browned.
