Stovetop Breaded Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

  • pork chops boneless
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley fresh or dried

Instructions

  • Mix salt and pepper.
  • Rub over top of pork chops.
  • Let sit for 30 minutes.
  • Mix 1cup flour with 1/2cup cornmeal, pinch of salt and 1 tbsp chopped fresh or dried parsley.
  • In a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs with fork.
  • Heat oil in frying pan. Just enough to cover thickness of pork chop.
  • Heat oil in frying pan on medium heat.
  • Dip pork chops into egg mixture then flour mixture.
  • When preheated (oil sizzles), continue frying on medium heat. Place pork chop into oil. Cook for 15 minutes one side. Turn over and cook for another 10-12 minutes.
  • For thicker pieces, cook another minute or two.
  • Remove and place on paper towel lined plate to remove excess oil.
