Ingredients

  • ½ cup flour
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 lbs of pre-cooked steak cut into ½” thin pieces.
  • 5 cups tomato juice or 1 can tomato paste with 5 cups water

Instructions

  • Combine flour with minced garlic in a medium sized bowl.
  • Add the cut pieces of steak and coat with flour/garlic mixture.
  • Transfer coated steak to a medium sized cooking pot with preheated vegetable oil.
  • Saute meat for 7 minutes.
  • Add the tomato juice to the pot and continue cooking for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. The tomato sauce will thicken.
  • Remove from the stove and serve alongside cooked pasta or spaghetti.

Notes

If you use uncooked steak, follow the same process but cook for at least 1 hour stirring occasionally until meat is cooked through. If the sauce thickens too much, add more water or tomato juice.
