Combine 2 tsp yeast and 1 tsp sugar with 1/2 cup warm water. Let the yeast mixture sit while preparing the dough.
Using a Kitchen Stand mixer with the dough attachment, combine flour, sugar, eggs, salt, melted butter and warm milk.
Add yeast mixture to dough mixture and continue mixing until well blended, approximately 10 minutes.
Remove dough from the mixing bowl and place it on a floured surface.
Knead by hand for 3 minutes. The longer you mix, the better the dough will turn out.
Place dough in a large greased bowl and cover with a paper towel. Leave the dough to rise to double its size; this takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
Remove the dough and divide into equally sized buns, placing them in a greased muffin tray.
Cover and let rise for another ½ hour. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 350F.
