Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe (using Stand Mixer)

A classic recipe for making homemade pizza dough from scratch.

Instructions

  • Mix together yeast, warm water and 1 tsp sugar. Cover and put aside for 5 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together 3 cups of flour, vegetable oil and salt.
  • Using the dough hook, slowly add yeast mixture to the flour mixture and combine.
  • Continue mixing for 7-10 minutes.
  • When well blended, remove from the bowl.
  • Add another 2 tbsp flour and knead by hand to form a ball.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Or put it in the freezer for later use.
When ready to use, remove from the freezer 2 hours before using.
