Easy Pan Seared Garlic Salmon Recipe

This simple pan-seared garlic salmon recipe is perfect for those busy weeknights or when you want to impress your dinner guests with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • Salmon salted and thawed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Pinch salt and pepper for taste
  • Lemon sliced

Instructions

  • Salt the salmon fillet ahead of time, at minimum 2 hours or overnight in fridge.
  • Add 2 tbsp butter in pan.
  • Place salmon fillets skin down in pan. Cook on med heat for 10 min.
  • In meantime, chop 3 cloves garlic.
  • Flip salmon over.
  • Peel off skin.
  • Sprinkle with garlic, pepper and salt.
  • Add sliced lemons around the salmon in pan.
  • Reduce to low heat. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Flip salmon again and cook additional 5 to 7 min, depending on thickness.
