Mix salt and oil together.
Lay filo pastry and sprinkle with oil and salt mixture.
Lay another filo pastry on top and again sprinkle with more of the salt mixture.
In a bowl, combine 3 cups hashbrowns, 1 tbsp of oil and remaining salt mixture.
Layer hashbrown mixture along full length of one side of the filo pastry.
Begin rolling into a strudel shape on side of hashbrown.
Move strudel to lightly greased pan.
Bake 390F for 25 to 30 minutes.
