- 5-6 eggs
- 1/2 bunch green onions
- 1/3 cup seedless olives
- 1 sheet of waffle paper
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1/2 tsp. dried garlic
- 2 tbsp. Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
- Salt & pepper
Boil the hard-boiled eggs. Cool them in ice water. Peel the eggs from their shells. Cut in half. Trim the bottom of the whites so that the halves stand upright. We will need 8 egg white halves and 5-6 yolks.
Place yolks in a bowl, add mustard, yogurt, vinegar and dried garlic. Season with a little salt and pepper. Mash the yolks with a fork until creamy. 3.
Fill the whites to the top with the filling. Chop the green onions and sprinkle over the surface of the eggs.
Place the remaining filling in a pastry bag and pipe the bee bodies on top of the “green grass”. Cut olives into halves and rings, assemble the body of the bee on top of the stuffing. Cut identical wings out of waffle paper and insert them into the bee body. If you don't have waffle paper, you can use cheese slices or almond petals for the wings
Transfer the bees to a serving plate and enjoy!
