- 3-4 lb pork shoulder ribs - divided into 2
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp Paprika flakes or powder
- 2 med sized baking onions sliced into wedges
Rub salt and pepper, and paprika all over the meat.
Make cuts into the meat and insert onion wedges into the slices.
Leave it to marinate for several hours, preferably overnight.
Preheat oven 370F.
Place into a roasting pan. Add 1 cup of water.
Bake covered for 2 hours.
Uncover for the last hour and add more water in the pan if needed.
If desired, add salted potato wedges (or sweet potatoes) in the pan circling the pork shoulder to cook fully with the meat.
