Croatian Cottage Cheese Strudel Recipe

Ingredients

Dough

  • Refer to the strudel pastry recipe.
  • 3 sheets of filo pastry

Filling

  • 1 container cottage cheese approx 350ml, soft
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp sour cream

Instructions

  • Mix all together by hand.
  • Spread the filling over the top of the greased dough, on the side closest to you, about ΒΌ of the pastry covered.
  • Transfer to a greased pan.
  • Bake 390F for 23 minutes and check if golden color. Place on middle rack (all baked goods).
  • Can sprinkle powdered sugar on top if it is not sweet enough.
