Best Chili with Potatoes Recipe

This hearty chili recipe is a twist on traditional chili, adding tender chunks of potato that soak up all the rich, tomato flavour of the sauce.

Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • 4-5 Potatoes cubed
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 1-2 Carrots chopped
  • 1 Celery stick chopped
  • 1 can Stewed tomatoes
  • 1 cup Tomato juice
  • 2-3 dashes Hot sauce or Tabasco sauce
  • 2 cans Pork and Beans
  • 1 can Kidney beans strained

Instructions

  • Fry ground beef with chopped onion– strain grease
  • Cut 4-5 potatoes into cubes
  • Cut 1-2 carrots into small pieces
  • Cut 1 stick of celery into small pieces
  • Add above into crock pot
  • Add can of stewed tomatoes into crock pot
  • Add tomato juice
  • Add 2-3 dashes of hot sauce and tabasco sauce
  • Cook on high for 5 hours
  • Cook additional time on medium heat or until potatoes are soft
  • Add two cans of pork and beans
  • Add can of kidney beans
