Leftover Turkey and Rice Recipe
With some simple ingredients and a little bit of creativity, you can turn your leftover turkey into a delicious and satisfying turkey and rice dish.

- 4 cups leftover turkey cubed
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tbsp parsley chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp paprika
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 cups all grain long rice
- 1 tsp Vegeta or your favorite seasoning
- 3 cups chicken broth or water
Cut leftover turkey (mix of dark and white meat) into cubes.
Saute chopped onions, minced garlic, salt, pepper and paprika in a frying pan with butter and oil to release flavors for about 5 minutes.
Add turkey and rice and mix all together.
Pour chicken broth (or water) over top of the mixture.
Cook covered on low-medium heat for 30 minutes.
Check if the rice is soft enough. If not and moisture absorbed, add another ¼ cup of water and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
Top with chopped parsley.
