- 3 pounds chicken breasts
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 8 whole pepperoncini peppers do not discard the juice from the jar
- ¾ cup juice from pepperoncini jar
- ½ cup 1 stick butter, sliced
Spray a large slow cooker with a non-stick cooking spray.
Add the diced onion to the bottom of the prepared slow cooker, then place the chicken on top of the onion.
Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy packets over the chicken.
Add pepperoncini, pepperoncini juice, and butter over top of the chicken.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 4-5 or low for 6-7 hours.
Use forks to shred the chicken, then serve it hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
