- ¼ head red cabbage finely shredded
- ½ cup green onions chopped
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar, balsamic
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil or light olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Shred the cabbage into thin strips carefully by hand with a sharp knife or using a mandolin.
Place the shredded red cabbage in large bowl and add salt. Mix together and leave it to sit for 10 minutes.
Add vinegar, then pepper and the rest of the ingredients (oil and green onions) and mix together.
