Combine wet ingredients (eggs, melted butter, oil and remaining 1/2 cup warm milk) in a large mixing bowl.
Add flour and salt to the wet ingredients.
Add the yeast mixture.
Mix all ingredients together in KitchenAid until well combined, about 8-10 minutes.
Leave dough in bowl and cover with a dish cloth. Let it rise to about double its size (about ½ hour to 1 hour).
Wet your hands and break apart the dough in to a ball about the size of a large egg. Knead it with your hands until it forms a smooth shape. Make even and place into baking pan.
Place it on the baking sheet at the top of the tree. Working one row at a time, continue making dough balls and placing them in to the pan until a tree shape is formed.
When in pan, mix 1 egg yolk and brush over top of dough.
Can add sesame seeds or sea salt over top as an optional ingredient.
Bake 380F for 30 minutes.
