Classic Plum Cake Recipe

- 160 gms Refined flour
- 1.5 tsp Baking powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 120 ml Oil
- 140 ml Milk room temperature
- 2 Eggs
- 150 gms + 1 tbsp Sugar powdered
- 1/2 grated Nutmeg
- 1.5 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Curd
- 2 tsp Honey
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Chopped plums
- Sliced plums for top
In a bowl add the oil and sugar and mix till its light and creamy.
dd the eggs one at a time and combine well.
Add curd, vanilla extract, honey & mix well.
In a large bowl sift the dry ingredients together (refined flour, salt, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon).
Start adding the dry mix to the wet mix, alternating it with milk.
Finally add in the chopped plums and just mix a little.
Pour it in your baking pan and place the sliced plums on top and sprinkle 1 tbsp sugar on top.
Bake at 180°C for 40-45 mins.
